VICON 3-D Video Based Motion Capture System
Motion capture is the process of recording the movement of objects or people. Our lab is equipped with a 12-camera system, which is able to accurately capture complex motion models. In human study, especially focusing on gait analysis, VICON system is utilized to assess patients with a wide array of pathologies affecting motion. Common applications include the assessment of cerebral palsy, injury, stroke, prosthetics/orthotics, Parkinson’s disease, and sports performance analysis.

Bertec Instrumented Treadmill with Force Platforms
The treadmill supports numerous test conditions with the variable incline and speed options. With force plates instrumented, it can measure the ground reaction force at the same time.
It protects patients with adjustable handrails and optional overhead safety structure.

Provide measurement of isolated joint isokinetic testing. It is the only and most efficient way to measure the maximum output of a joint. Isolating a joint eliminates substitution. Fixing the speed allows maximum neuromuscular contraction.
